This is a used Meade 26mm 5-element Plossl, with a 60-degree field of view. It is in excellent condition with clean optics. It comes in its original box.
Meade's Series 5000 26.0mm Plossl eyepiece has low levels of chromatic aberration and is characterized by the typical sharpness of this eyepiece genre. However, it now distances itself from the pack in that is part of the first Plossl design which has a wide angle apparent viewing field of 60°. The legendary Plossl sharpness with a view that wraps around your mind's eye! The Series 5000 26.0mm Plossl Wide Angle Eyepiece is threaded to accept the Meade 1.25" astronomy filters.
