{"product_id":"used-celestron-800-cf-ota-on-working-fork-arm-mount","title":"Used Celestron 800 CF OTA on working fork arm mount","description":"\u003ch3\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePRICE DROP!  Was $400, now just $300!\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCondition:\u003c\/strong\u003e This is an older carbon fiber CPC 800 OTA mounted on a working CPC fork arm mount.  It is from an estate and is approximately 15-18 years old.  Even though it's older, the CF OTA is still in good condition, with relatively clean optics, and includes Bob's Knobs installed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are quite a few spots of dust on the corrector plate.  However, these spots cover a tiny area, and will block significantly less than 1% of the light, so they will not affect your views or imaging.  The rest of the corrector plate is clear and clean, with no smudging or smearing.  See the photos.  We have tested the mount arm in the store, and it works just fine, should you choose to want to continue to use it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever, because of its age, this won't mount on a current CPC 1100 tripod without some difficulty.  We do not have the mounting bolts for this.  Therefore, we are pricing this as if it's just an older OTA.  We are leaving it mounted in the fork arms to give you a choice:  1) You can try to figure out how to mount the OTA and fork arm to a tripod and use it that way;
