This is a used Vixen 80mm achromatic refractor OTA.  It has Japanese optics, but is the bare tube only - no diagonal, no eyepieces, no finder.  It does include rings attached to a Vixen dovetail, as well as a two-inch focuser. 

It is in good but used condition, with some dust on the inner lens surface, but not anything that would impact your views.  If you've ever wanted to take a dive into refractors, this one is your ticket.  

 

This is a perfect telescope for the beginner astronomer as it offers a lightweight and compact design and is supplied with accessories that enable you to get set up simply and quickly.

The A80M is an achromatic refractor with an 80mm objective lens (aperture). Its focal length is 910mm with a focal ratio of f11.4. Its light gathering is 130 times better than the human eye and it has a maximum usable magnification of 144x. Weighing less than 3kg and measuring under 1m in length it is small and light enough to be transported to your observing site for quick set up and viewing.

The scope is supplied with tube rings and as with all Vixen tubes supplied by Opticron, it comes complete with Vixen’s dovetail plate allowing it to be used on any of the Vixen mounts.
