This is a beautiful little William Optics Zenithstar 66mm Petzval telescope in shiny black. William Optics calls this "semi-APO", although it is a four-element Petzval. The highly-reviewed optics are F/5.9 with a 388MM focal length - please see the specifications below. Dual speed Crayford focuser, SCT threads on rear. Includes:
- original WO padded soft case
- WO 1.25" diagonal
This scope is in very good condition with clean optics and body.
The previous owner used this as a travel scope for visual astronomy. It is difficult to achieve focus with eyepieces with this scope. He has included a handy O-ring (which, of course, is removable) on the telescope end of the diagonal to prevent it from being fully inserted to increase the amount of backfocus.
This would make a great widefield AP scope, or a perfect travel scope.
