Utilizing the iOptron Precision AZ/EQ Base, and Skywatcher 3/8" adapter, this mini-EQ wedge for the Seestar will help you elevate your imaging.
Includes everything you need to adapt your Seestar S50 to use Equatorial mode. A latitude adjustment base and vixen to 3/8" adapter plate for using the SeeStar S50 in Equatorial Mode.
IMPORTANT: You must extend the SeeStar S50 tripod legs completely to ensure the S50 does not topple over. Using the wedge shifts the center of gravity away from the middle of the tripod, and requires the legs be fully extended to maintain balance. Even with the legs extended, Seestar S50 will be less stable. A larger tripod, or tripod with a wider leg stance is encouraged. Use caution.
Precision adjustable equatorial base for SeeStar S50 and S30. The base has a built-in bubble level. It accepts a Vixen-type dovetail bar and comes with a Vixen to 3/8" adapter plate for the SeeStar. The altitude adjustment range is from 0º ~ 90º.
