This is a barely used Meade 12" truss-tube dob. It was just too much for the previous owner, who only used it three times. It includes all of the standard accessories listed below, as well a William Optics red dot finder, an $85 value.
The body is in excellent condition - it is completely clean/unmarked, and the movement is butter-smooth on the ball bearings. The tube assembles easily and quickly.
However, even though the previous owner didn't use the scope, the primary mirror got dusty over the years and is not pristine. There are some marks and smudging on it. This is minimal, and will not affect your views. However, we have taken this into consideration and reduced it to the incredibly low price of just $700 for a 12-inch scope! At that price, it won't last.
The mount has been completely assembled, so there's one less thing you'll need to do. However, because of this, this is available for in-store pickup only.

The LightBridge™ Plus Series Telescopes feature an upgraded 2”, 2-speed Rack and Pinion Focuser. The Rack & Pinion design includes a 10:1 fine focus knob for precise focusing and includes a Vernier scale with millimeter markings on the drawtube to assist with focusing accuracy.
Included with the LightBridge™ Plus Telescopes is a 3-element, fully multi-coated 2” Series 4000 26mm Eyepiece - providing a 56 degree apparent field of view, as well as a battery-operated cooling fan attached to the primary mirror. The fan's battery pack takes 4 AA batteries.
