*** Put simply, the L-Synergy filter is for more-advanced users who want to shoot nebula images in a true Hubble "SHO" palette with their one-shot color camera.
To do this, you'd combine two image stacks—one exposed through the L-Synergy, and the other exposed through Optolong's L-eXtreme filter.
**Need BOTH filters? Get the L2 Dual-Combo set instead, HERE.
The Optolong L-Synergy is a dual 7nm narrowband filter compatible with DSLR cameras, color CMOS sensors, and CCD cameras, supporting telescope systems with an F-ratio of f/3.3 or above (i.e., slower systems). Its key advantage lies in enabling astrophotographers to capture narrowband Sulphur wavelengths, along with some "extra" Oxygen-III light. In combination with the Hydrogen-Alpha and Oxygen-III emissions provided by an L-eXtreme filter that you may already be using, the result of stacking the light from both filters is the famous "SHO," or "Hubble Palette," as seen in many deep-space images of nebulae.
Optical Design
L-Synergy precisely captures the SII and OIII found in nebula colors, while filtering out the majority of other colors, including light pollution. Optically optimized, L-Synergy maintains consistently high transmission across both SII and OIII bands, delivering optimal astrophotography results.

Coating Technology
·Multi-layers anti-reflection coating
·Non-cementing optical substrate coating
·Optolong filter adopts precision coating based on Ion-assisted deposition coating technology for durability and resistance to scratching, as well as stability on CWL (central wavelength) no deviation affected by temperature change.
·Precision and homogeneity of the coatings ensures high transmission of the desired passbands and efficient removal of other wavelengths.
