This is a used 5kg (11lb) iOptron Counterweight for the GEM45/CEM70 and other models, listed below. It is in good condition, with some scratches in the black paint due to normal use.
Features
This newly designed 5kg (11lb) counterweight (CW) uses compression ring to lock the CW onto a CW shaft. Comparing to traditional "point contact" locking mechanism via a locking screw and a pin, the compression ring provides more secure locking method through distributed surface contact.
This CW is designed for following iOptron Mount:
- CEM70/CEM70G
- CEM60/CEM60EC
- GEM45/GEM45EQ
- iEQ45/iEQ45 Pro
It can be used for other mount with a 28mm diameter counterweight shaft.
