Guide cameras, or autoguide cameras, are used in conjunction with a guide scope or off-axis guider to precisely track the sky's rotation by locking onto a star and sending pointing adjustments to the mount to keep the star perfectly centered. Guide cameras work in conjunction with autoguide software, or an ASI Air.
