This is a 0.55x reducer for an SCT of an unknown brand. We've tried this out on an 8" SCT here in the store, and it works excellently. It is in perfect, pristine, like new condition - not a mark on it, either in the completely clean optics or on the body. Save big off of a brand new one!
How many elements does it have? Dunno. Coatings? No idea. The only clue as to its origin is that the "0,55x" has a comma in it instead of a period, meaning that it is of European origin, or for the European market.
The 0.55x reducer will give you a shorter focal ratio that allows the OTA to have a wider field of view and faster exposure times, making it suitable for capturing large areas of nebulae, star clusters, and faint, fast-moving celestial objects.
