Seymchan meteorite was discovered in Russia. First pieces were discovered in 1967 on a riverbed. This is a pallasite with rich olivine inclusions in some specimens like this one.

Slice contains olivine inclusions and is acid etched to show the Widmanstätten pattern in the iron-nickel crystal structure. This is a nice slice with two long natural edges and two short cut ends. Slice is approximately 3.75mm thick.

Includes riker display box for protection and display.

Meteorite size: 130mm x 80mm x 3.75mm (measured on longest edge)
Weight: 163 grams

Meteorite is removable from the case. If handled, care must be taken to prevent oxidation and rust.
