Used Meade 12" f/8 ACF OTA w/UHTC

This is a Meade 12" f/8 ACF OTA that is in very good condition.  The tube does have a few dings and marks on it, but the optics are very clean.  See the photos.  This is just the barebones OTA, and includes only the 8x50 finderscope and dust caps.  This is the f/8 version, so it is faster than the f/10, but has a larger central obstruction from the secondary mirror. 

We do have the shipping box for this, so we can ship it to you for a $99 shipping charge.  There are no returns on this item.

Features an internal zero image shift Crayford-style focusing system with a two-speed 7:1 reduction control that provides smooth, precise focusing at any magnification. Also features Meade's Ultra-High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) for maximum brightness and contrast, an oversized low-expansion primary mirror for extra aperture and to prevent thermal expansion of the mirror, and diffraction-limited optics.

Includes precision machined Losmandy-style dovetail rail mated to the tube with wide-stance radius blocks for rock-steady mounting, and front and rear dust covers. Focal length is 2438mm. OTA weight is 41 lbs.
