Condition: This is a vintage classic C8 with a black tube. We estimate this scope is from between the late eighties through the mid-nineties, when the previous owner acquired it. It is in very good condition: the optics are clean, with no scratches. There is a minimal amount of dust on the corrector plate that won't affect your views or use of the scope. The body of the tube and fork arms are also unmarked. The wedge and tripod are in good shape.
This is the fork-mounted OTA with clock drive, with an EQ wedge and a lightweight tripod. It includes a Telrad, visual back, diagonal, and a couple of vintage eyepieces. One eyepiece has no markings on it whatsoever; the other is a 40mm Rini.
Everything seems to work just as it should: the clock drive makes noise when you plug it in (although you will probably want to get a fresh 9V battery in the power source); the focus knob turns appropriately; the RA knob moves the scope in the RA axis.
There is no shipping available for this item; this is for in-store purchase only.
